Selank for ADHD: What Does Research Suggest?

Selank has garnered interest from researchers and the nootropic community due to its reported effects on anxiety regulation, cognitive function, and neurochemical balance. Although Selank is not approved as a treatment for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), several experimental and clinical studies suggest that it may interact with biological pathways related to attention, executive functions, working memory, and cognitive performance [1–4].

Research suggests that Selank exhibits nootropic properties and may support cognitive functions without causing significant sedation or memory impairment [1]. Experimental studies have shown that Selank acts as a positive allosteric modulator of GABA receptors, which may help to limit excessive stress responses and reduce anxiety-related cognitive impairments [1].
